Manitoba: Issued 450 Invitations for International Graduates, Skilled Workers in Overseas and Manitoba

The draw which is held on June 20 invited 450 Immigrant candidates to apply for a Provincial Nomination for Canadian residence in an Expression of Interest.

The Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) are going to candidates:

• Skilled Workers Overseas: 323
• Skilled Workers Manitoba: 101
• International Educational Stream: 26

Three streams of Skilled Workers Overseas, Skilled Workers Manitoba and International Educational Stream are part of Manitoba Provincial Nomination.

Immigration candidates are nominated by the province which is allowed will require the skills and ability to settle quickly and establish themselves economically.

Expression of Interest draw on June 20 invited 133 Express Entry Candidates:

The draw invited 133 Express Entry candidates went to candidates of Federal Express Entry System with a job seeker validation code and experience in a Manitoba's Occupation In-demand list and the candidate who receives provincial nomination will get additional of 600 points towards there CRS score and which effectively guaranteeing an invitation to apply for Canadian Permanence Residence.

The criteria for the other Skilled Workers Overseas who receive LAA are:

• Should have a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba.
• Should have at least 6 months of recent experience in the Occupation In-demand list of Manitoba.
• Minimum language proficiency of CLB/NCLC 5 or a compulsory trade CLB/NCLC6.

Temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who are currently working in Manitoba are eligible openly by Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream and also have been offered a permanent, full-time job with their Manitoba employer.

The first required step is completing an Expression of Interest for most skilled workers candidates who would like to be considered as Provincial Nomination from Manitoba.

The minimum score required for an LAA in the June 20 draw is

• Skilled workers in Manitoba: 475
• Skilled workers overseas: 599
• Strategic recruitment initiative candidates: 704

Candidates provide required information about their education, work experience, proficiency in the language (English or French) and connections to Manitoba and the score is awarded based on their answers.

The highest CRS candidates are invited through regular draws from Manitoba's EOI pool
